Womxn Make Music
The Womxn Make Music retreat is a free residency for 15 women and non-binary artists living in the Eurobodalla Shire. It will take place at The Pines Education and Retreat Centre in Tuross Heads on the last weekend in June, as the final event of Queerobodalla's Pride Month.
This weekend is designed for women and non-binary artists who are wanting to develop their music and performance skills and aims to see an uplift in the number of women and non-binary performers in the Eurobodalla Shire. Running from Friday, 28 June evening to Sunday, 30 June, attendees will have the opportunity to attend multiple workshops foussed on developing skills necessary to pursuing a career as a professional musician ranging from sound and tech, to rhythm and playing with other people, to marketing and artist development, and more.
Please complete the below form and tell us a bit about what you do and would like to get out of a music and performance skills development retreat with Womxn Make Music. Due to the limited number of a places being offered, a survey will be sent out to interested artists to determine who will benefit the most out of this weekend, if the levels of interest exceed the number of places available.
This project was supported by funding received from Fire to Flourish, Monash Sustainable Development Institute – Eurobodalla Community Team
